I like dancing. I like playing video games.

I like Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 DMZ. it's a game mode that rewards cooperation and does not necessitate fragging other human players. I've seen it called loot-n-shoot or an extraction shooter.

In DMZ, you can hear players that are nearby, it helps prepare and it can offer the opportunity to team up. "Friendly? Friendly? FRIENDLY!!!"

Baldur's Gate 3 is a rich RPG. I hadn't played a role-playing game in a long time and this is refreshing. Dice are rolled, dialogues and choices matter and a lot of importance is given to the story.

Apex Legends is still tons of fun. A first person shooter that's easy to pick up, yet hard to master. Teaming up with friends is kind of a must. Like any FPS, Apex is much better with a mouse and a keyboard. And this is now possible on Mac, thanks to nVidia GeForce Now. GFN brings actually-usable game streaming to the masses. For $20/month you get a top-of-the-line gaming experience, and you can bring a good chunk of your Steam library. I'd tried Shadow gaming, I tried Stadia and both of these suffered from tangible latency. GFN doesn't. This lack of perceived latency is an illustration of Arthur C. Clarke's third law:

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

My mouse clicks and keyboard key strokes are sent to a gaming rig in the cloud, this input is then communicated to a game server, shared with other game clients. Meanwhile, my display is updated from the gaming rig. And it all feels like I'm in a LAN party. It blows my mind.
