My crypto wishlist

These are tokens I'd like to own, and I haven't gotten to it yet.

• Polkadot: a friend/ex-coworker of mine just joined a company that provides infrastructure for blockchain startups (a la BlockDaemon), and he says everyone's buzzing about its activity
• $RARE: The SuperRare DAO token. I understand SuperRare to be a somewhat curated NFT marketplace. You can think of a DAO as the next evolution in human organization, management, and governance. There was the tribe, the city, the kingdom, the nation-state, the corporation. Now there are DAOs. Distributed Autonomous Organizations. Not the panacea, nor the silver bullet. Just the next iteration of humans working together, leveraging properties of the blockchain (immutability, transparency, built-in currency…). With this DAO, SuperRare will be able to scale by having individuals or organizations perform their own curation. Imagine, say, Kanye shilling his art preference. Or Sotheby's.
• THORChain: Decentralized native inter-blockchain exchange. No KYC. Still early, they got hacked recently, but there's demand and Voorhees behind it.

What I did

I initiated a transfer of SOL out of Binance into my Phantom wallet.
SOL? It is the native token for the Solana blockchain. If Bitcoin is programmable money, I consider Solana to be programmable everything else, in the same bag as Ethereum or Cardano. All of these "compute" blockchains have different characteristics. Solana is said to be more performant and cheaper to use.
Binance? one of the more popular fiat/crypto exchanges. New to me: I had to VPN out of the US to use their service
Ghost wallet? A simple software wallet with support for a lot of coins and NFTs

I still love

Bisq: peer-to-peer decentralized exchange over Tor. No KYC. It's slow and a bit more expensive, but it's bulletproof.

The future

• Buying land as NFT, of course.
