I helped fight the environmental FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) around bitcoin. People will tell you Bitcoin wastes energy and boils the ocean. It's misleading, inaccurate, and alarmist. I suggest you watch This Machine Greens until the credits roll.

GitLab will IPO ($GTLB). When it does, I'll probably buy some shares. I like this company because they have a sticky product. The core of their product is similar to GitHub: storage and version management of your source code. I associate GitHub with public/open repositories and GitLab with private endeavors. The last time I compared the two, GitLab came with more convenience to plug your code repo with all sorts of automation tools to take your code, package it, test it, deploy it on various environments. And it would orchestrate all of this. It's very much DevOps. It empowers engineers to build faster, better. And GitLab is not cheap. 87% gross margin(!). More quick stats in Inside Tech.
